Portfolio shoot
I recently had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with virtuoso woodwind musician, Simeon Wood.
Simeon wanted a set of photo's he can use for a forthcoming CD cover, publicity posters, and to promote himself to schools.
The CD cover ideas involved some "arty" shots, silhouette/moody/comtemplative. For the schools publicity he wanted to show music as fun, appealing to the children and encouraging them to be have a greater interest in music, and possibly in playing a musical instrument.
The general publicity shots for concerts and performing needed to show Simeon as the classy and charming performer that he is (performing on some of the top cruise ships, and to audiences nationwide).
All in all, we had a great day together, laughed a lot, and produced a fantastic set of pictures which I feel captured all that Simeon wanted, plus a bit more besides, with the creative input coming from both sides.
Please have a look at www.simeonwood.com for more about Simeon, concert dates, and contact/booking details.
If you want to talk about headshots and performer photos, please give me a call.

It's your day!
I like it when people are not tied by tradition, and feel free enough to do what they want on their wedding day, even if that means being "different".
You don't get much different to having your reception at TGI Friday's. "It's our favourite restaurant" is as good a reason as any, and why not? The fact that the wedding was on a Tuesday just added to the effect.
The location made for some interesting shots, and some funny looks from the other diners, especially when I started climbing on chairs to get different angles.
It was a lovely wedding to shoot. I get to meet some lovely people in the course of my work, and do what I enjoy.
