What an amazing day. Perfect weather, a perfect couple, and a fabulous group of family and friends to celebrate your wedding with you. Couldn't ask for more.

Boomin Band at The Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale

Organised by The Flying Horse Hotel in Rochdale, Flood Fest ran last night from 4pm until late, with a number of local bands offering their services for free, in order to raise funds for the people in Rochdale centre who were worst affected by the 2015 Boxing Day flooding.
Headlining the night were the amazing Boomin Band, who rocked the night to a suitable crescendo. I'm not sure yet how much the night raised, but here is a selection of photos of Boomin to give you a taste of what we enjoyed.

Wedding at Rochdale Town Hall Registry Office - Jenny & Phil

Seeing two people so happy together is one of the best bits of being involved in weddings. Put together with a chilled day, proud dad face, cute flower girls, bunch of fun friends and one of the best gothic buildings in the country and you have a recipe for a day that was all that they wanted it to be. It was a delight to be a part of it, and one of the reasons I love my job.
