Another lovely customer comment...

I love it when people take the time to leave feedback, especially when it is a complimentary as this recommendation on my Facebook business page.

"Howard is a fantastic photographer and a really great guy as well. He's very accommodating and easy going and loves playing with the venue and different lights to achieve fantastic shots that we hadn't even considered. He really helped make our wedding even more special and myself and Kelly are looking forward to pouring over our photos for years to come. Highly recommended . Thanks again Howard !"

Lifestyle portraits in Manchester

Last week I had the privilege of shooting a set of pictures for a really nice guy to send back to his family in Africa, to show them where he is living, how well he is looking and what he gets up to in his spare time.

We ended up at Plattfields Park, Manchester City's training ground, Manchester Town Hall, Manchester Wheel, Urbis, Market Street and the Manchester Hilton Hotel.

Armed with a few outfits, and more beanies than your local sports shop, out we went to capture some images.

Here is a selection of my favourite shots from the day.

Heaton Park Wedding - Ruby & Nik

Another great day with a great couple. What a load of fun, a nice location and the weather stayed fine. What more could they ask for?
The wedding was held in Heaton Hall, Manchester, with the reception in the Orangery.
Here's a selection of the finished pictures. Now they have the challenge of narrowing the set down to fit in their album - a Graphistudio storybook. Can't wait to see what they choose.

While based in Rochdale, I also carry out wedding photography in Manchester and surrounding areas.

The coolest place to eat lunch

In my humble opinion, the coolest place in Manchester to do lunch is the Northern Quarter Craft Centre.
Lunch today was ham and cabbage soup followed by a peppered mackerel with lemon mayo and cucumber sandwich. All washed down with one of the best cappucino's around. Absolutely delicious.
For those who don't know, the craft centre is the old fish & poultry market, now occupied by artists and designer/makers selling their work to the public. It's well worth a visit.
