I especially liked the ones with the bows on the sides, so different to the usual. Pebbles on the tables is a nice variation too, especially for destination wedding receptions.

Target Golf in Rochdale Town Centre, part of Rochdale Feelgood Festival

I have recently joined a group of local businesses in Rochdale, called "Rochdale Rochdale Rochdale". The aims of the group are to "Promote Rochdale's Pride and Productivity".
To join the group members must either live, or work in Rochdale, and be committed to the aim stated above. We hope to highlight the quality and service of local businesses and people in Rochdale.
One of the ways we hope to do this is to get involved in local events and help to raise money for charity by offering prizes, normally relating to our businesses where appropriate, for raffles/auctions/challenges.
Our first event was on 16th July on The butts in Rochdale Town Centre, in conjunction with the Skylight Circus event, where we held a target golf competition. We will also be at the Rushbearing Festival in Harehill Park, Littleborough on the 30th July, and the Feelgood Festival in Rochdale Town Hall square on 3rd September.

Afterglow Live Band at The Venue Halifax

I recently worked at The Venue Halifax, offering event photos at the fundraising ball for the Eye-Aye charity. The live entertainment was provided by the Afterglow band. In the course of my work I attend a lot of events where there is a live performance, and Afterglow definitely rated as one of the best I have seen, in terms of pure musical talent from the musicians, the quality of Hayley's lead vocals, and the variety and flexibility of the range of styles and songs covered.

Wedding at Chadderton Town Hall - Rachel & David

One of those lovely little weddings, with just a few people there. Friendly and rather intimate. The ceremony took place in The Green Room at Chadderton Town Hall, perfectly sized for such a select group.
The request was for just the ceremony to be covered and a few groups and couple photos. Happy to oblige.
We went to Foxdenton Park for the couple shots and the weather was perfect. Bright sunlight is normally disliked by photographers for the harsh shadows it produces, but in this case it just brought out the colours brilliantly, especially that of Rachel's dress. The couple were relaxed, chilled and, above all, up for a fun day.
It was a pleasure to share part of their special day with them, albeit such a small part.
Rachel's smile just brightened the day even more than the sunshine.
