I had the tough job of taking some photos at the finals of the Miss West Yorkshire contest on Friday night, working for the venue where they were being held.
Not the worst job I have ever had to do, I must admit!!
The subject matter was obviously rather good to work with, in terms of photos, and I decided to share a few with you to give a flavour of what the night was about.
It would not be right to pass comment on whether I agree with the decision of the judges for the final three, or the winner, but it must have been a difficult one to call, glad I didn't have to make the decision.
The Eco round provided contestants to make their own clothes out of re-cyclable materials, some of the outfits were excellent and very imaginative, especially the Yorkshire Tea one!

Using the event to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, an extremely worthy cause.
