Saturday saw a rather unusual and rather special event in Rochdale.
A youth rock band from the Czech Republic performed a concert in the main hall at Champness Hall, Rochdale.
The group were invited over by Newbold Baptist Church to visit Rochdale and perform their own brand of Christian Rock Music, which they use back home to reach their peers with the message of the Bible.
After performing an acoustic set in the open air for the Street Cafe event held by Branches Christian Fellowship in the afternoon, they resumed their normal modus operandi with the full-on rock set in the evening.
Before the band came on stage, the audience was treated to a short set by the worship band from Newbold Baptist Church, and a few songs by a choir made up of people from churches around Rochdale.
The pictures give a flavour of the energy in the music, and I can only vouch for the talent of the group, or you can have a listen HERE. (Please do have a listen).
